Pitman's Pond, on the Somerset Long Bay East nature reserve. This piece of property was bought through the 'Buy Back Bermuda' initiative of the Bermuda National Trust and the Bermuda Audubon Society which collected donations from the public. Now this land will be saved from any future development.

This is a stunning photograph. I feel as if I am actually parting the underbrush aside and entering a warm and unspoiled garden.
ReplyDeleteAh, nature at it's finest! Good to know it's being preserved. Very nicely done!
